Every competition, one calendar

AIDA world champs, CMAS events, national contests, and local pool meets, on one calendar in the app. Dates, disciplines, deadlines, results.

What a competition looks like

Measurable performance

Athletes announce the depth, distance, or time they intend to reach, then perform. Judges verify the result and apply penalties for protocol breaks. Score is performance minus penalties. No style points, just you, the water, and a number.

The announcement system

Before competing, you submit an announcement: the performance you plan to achieve, usually 12 to 24 hours ahead. Announcements set the order, deeper ones going later. You can announce conservatively and still set a record.

Pool, depth, open water

Pool disciplines: STA (static, breath-hold face-down), DYN (dynamic with fins), and DNF (dynamic no fins). Depth disciplines: CWT (constant weight with fins), FIM (free immersion, pulling the rope), and CNF (constant weight, no fins).

AIDA and CMAS

Two federations, different rules

AIDA International is the larger federation, with more recognized world records and a longer history. CMAS, the World Confederation of Underwater Activities, also sanctions events with slightly different rules and record categories. Both run annual world championships.

National federations and local comps

Below the international level, national federations run their own circuits, from France to Japan to the Philippines. Then come local pool meets and club competitions. That is where most competitive freedivers start, in small fields with familiar faces.

Records and rankings

National, continental, and world records span each discipline and federation. They anchor your sense of where you stand: a 50m constant-weight dive means one thing when the record is 85m, another at 110m. Deeplink tracks records across federations.

How to find and register

One calendar

AIDA, CMAS, and national federations each keep their own calendar, and local meets scatter across social media. Deeplink aggregates the lot. Filter by country, discipline, federation, or date range.

All the details on one page

Dates, venue, disciplines, entry fees, registration deadline, and who has signed up, all on one page. Enough to decide whether to enter. Updated as organizers publish changes.

Don't miss the deadline

Deeplink notifies you before each registration deadline and links straight to the official sign-up page. Every federation runs its own registration, so we make sure you do not miss the window.

Submit missing comps

No single database catches every event. If you know a competition that is not listed, submit it, and organizers can add their own. The community fills the gaps for local events, with results updated after they finish.
